Following on from our announcement earlier in the week regarding our WFTDA Apprenticeship status, we are really pleased to let you all know that our mentor league from the USA is:
Steel City Derby Demons
Every new Apprentice League is paired up with a fully fledged WFTDA league and we’re thrilled to have been paired with Pittsburgh’s notorious Steel City. Steel City’s varsity team, Steel Hurtin’ came over to the UK last year to play at
London Rollergirls’ Anarchy in the UK Tournament. Quite a few of Leeds Roller Dolls were there to witness Hurricane Heather, ‘Snot Rocket Science and co. tearing up the track, so we can’t wait to learn from them and progress our league even further.
